There are two kinds of arithmetic expression in the CL, one kind for variable arithmetic and one for table arithmetic. For historical reasons, variable arithmetic expressions are known simply as arithmetic expressions, and this term hereafter in the manual will mean exclusively variable arithmetic expressions. Individual table cells can be used in arithmetic expressions.

Table arithmetic expressions are known as table arithmetic.
