ESS Effective sample sizes in statistics

ESS is a logical format. The standard setting is ESS (true).

Format ESS tells CL to use the effective base sizes when calculating statistics and marking significance levels on respondent weighted tables.

The effective sample sizes are used remove the "weighting effect" from the statistics calculations.

If NESS is used then the unweighted figures are used instead.
