This contains three run control parameters.

start control,

* First example using ASCII data

c=first.asc,

cep,

finish control,

The header line begins with a * and describes the CL script. This text would also be used in Report file output.

The second line names the input data file as FIRST.ASC. The suffix ASC tells CL that this is a fixed format ASCII data file.

The last line tells CL to run all three steps - compile, execute and print.
