Print style logo

Selecting [Logo] from the "Print style" dialog box will allow you to include a logo in your print style.

Product or Company logos may be included when printing CL documents, and are most commonly displayed in the bottom right hand corner of a table. To include a logo, at the "Print Style Logo" dialog box click in the [Print Logo] box.

Next, click the [File] button and choose the directory path and the .BMP file of the logo you wish to include. If you know the path and the .BMP name, you may if you prefer, type this in the "Bitmap name" box.

The bitmap file (.BMP) may have been created in a drawing program such as Paintbrush, or exported from a desk top publishing or word processing package; it must be black and white (mono) - not colour.

NOTE: It is also possible to select [File] and choose a resource file (.DLL), in previous versions of CL this was the only method of including a logo on your printed documents..

Then you should specify where on the page the logo should be printed, by typing the distance from the top of the printable page area in the [Top] box and the distance from the left of the printable page area in the [Left] box (all figures are in 0.001 inches).

The remaining [Width] and [Height] boxes control the dimensions of the logo. Note that the width and height ratio should be the same as in the original bitmap, otherwise the bitmap will be stretched to fit in the dimensions you have specified. To check the dimensions you have selected, click the [View] button and the logo will be displayed at the screen. When you have finished defining the settings and the logo dimensions, select [OK] to return to the "Print Style" dialog box.

NOTE: The logo may be overlaid on top of the border if required, although you may need to adjust the page margins to ensure that the logo does not overwrite the page text.
