*DBLINES

This counts the number of rows in an ODBC table.

The command is as follows:

[*DBLINES rowcount = fileindex;sheetname]

IMPORTANT: the row numbers start at 1 so the returned value will be numerically one smaller that the actual number of rows in the spreadsheet because row 1 is used for the header row that identifies the columns.
