Interactive branching

Interactive branching - the route taken through the CL script when the interactive commands A (accept), REPLY and HOLD are used - is controlled by the CP (checkpoint) command.

When an escape key is used in response to a prompt from an A (accept) or a REPLY command, execution continues at the next CP (checkpoint) command.

When the command GO is entered in response to a prompt from a HOLD command, execution continues at the last CP (checkpoint) command executed.

The CP command is itself non-executable, and there is no limit on the number of CP (checkpoint) commands there may be in a Stage.
