From Paste special using either of the "Block" buttons will invoke this to do a global rename of entries on the clipboard.

You can choose :

•Simple - search for a group of characters and replace them with another group of characters

•Regular expression - search and replace using a regular expression and substitute texts

The default is to the ignore case when testing.  You can change this so that a case sensitive search is done.
