Telin only

This dialog appears when the interviewer uses the [Add new serial] button in the Telin start data dialog.

If the project allows the interviewers to "choose" serial numbers for new records, then they can alter the serial number allocated by the program from the serial number (.qsn) file.

The interviewer can then enter a telephone number for the contact and  use the [Dial] button to dial the number with a TAPI2 dialler of ask Invade to dial the number.

The interviewer can then choose from:

•[Start interview] to proceed with the interview

•[Cancel] to return to the Start dialog

•[Hang up] to close the call, usually to try a different telephone number

•[Appointment] to prepare a call back

New records added this way are not added to the sample data file.
