ANC is a numeric format. The standard setting is ANC0 (false).

This option filters out from tables those who did not answer the column variable (banner).

Format ANC1 tells CL to increment the table only if the requested column variable is not empty.

ANC-1 is the same as ANC1 except that the last response in the breakdown variable is ignored when checking. ANC-2 ignores the last two responses and so on.

Be careful when using ANC with banked tables.
