BTS is a logical format. The standard setting is NBTS (false).

Setting BTS causes an empty table (one containing no figures) to not be printed.

Where continuation tables (format option CON) are specified, BTS will look at all tables in the set; continuation tables will only be suppressed if all tables are suppressed.

Format BRS will cause empty CON (+t) tables to be suppressed.

Note that the page number and automatic table number, if used, will not be incremented for a table suppressed by BTS.
