CON is a logical format. The standard setting is NCON (false).
Format CON tells CL that this is a "suppress heading" table, to be printed immediately beneath the previous one, without starting a new page or printing the header, titles or banner labels. The appearance is thus of one continuous table.
The base for vertical percentages is taken from the previous table. Other than this, a table printed under CON has no connection with the table that precedes it. In particular, ranking and the calculation of medians, statistics, etc., are not carried across suppress heading tables.
There is no limit to the number of suppress heading tables that may be specified under format CON.
CL users may use + before the T (tabulate) command to indicate a continuation table.
IMPORTANT: all tables in a group of continuation tables must have the same number of columns. CL will ignore CON if the number of columns is not the same.
