HAL is a logical format. The standard setting is NHAL (false).

HAL set causes percentages to be printed alongside and to the right of the numbers in the table instead of underneath them. Sufficient spaces should be allocated within the current setting of CLW for printing the percentages.

The number of spaces between the numbers and the percentages is specified by format HLS.
