MWW is a logical format. The standard setting is NMWW (false).
This format causes a Mann-Whitney-Wilcoxon test to be performed for each column of the table. Each column is tested against the remainder in the sample (the total column minus this column).
MWW should only be used when the rows of the table are in order and you do not wish to put value scores on them. You should use label control <VU> for rows to be ignored in the calculation.
