PNL is a logical format. The standard setting is NPNL (false).
It specifies that figures too large to print because not enough space has been allocated must appear in the tables file beneath the row on which they would have appeared.
When PNL is false, figures too large to print are listed in the Log file and do not appear in the tables file. >> is placed in the relevant cell of the table.
