UNE is a logical format. The standard setting is NUNE (false).
Format UNE tells CL to calculate the effective sample sizes for each cell and replace the unweighted cells with them.
Using UNE on weighted (SELECT WR) tables causes the unweighted cells to be incremented by the square of the weights applied.
At print time these figures are replaced in each cell by the weighted figure squared divided by this figure.
VERY IMPORTANT: do not use CP (Compile and Print) with UNE changed.
VERY IMPORTANT: All printing of unweighted figures and all statistics that use the unweighted figures will use the "effective sample sizes" instead.
IMPORTANT: Be aware that the replaced unweighted figures will always be less than or equal to the unweighted figures and will not add up.
IMPORTANT: Always replace %UNR and %UNC when using UNE.
