Selecting [Extra fonts] from the "Print style" dialog box, causes the "Extra fonts" dialog box to be displayed. Here you may set fonts for specific blocks of text on the printed page. This selection is normally used when printing tables and will allow you, for example, to print the title for the tables in a font different to that used for the main body of the table.
To set an additional font, from the "Extra fonts" dialog box, note which font number is highlighted and then click the [Font] button. You will then see the "Font" dialog box, where you should select the new font name, style and type and the select [OK]. At the "Extra fonts" dialog box the font number, the name and size of the chosen font is displayed in the [Selected font] box.
The next step is to specify for which block(s) of text, on which line(s), the font should be used. Lines run down the page (see the [Printer setup] box in the "Print Style" dialog box, for the number of lines per page). A block of text is any text, which is separated from another text by at least two spaces. For example, line 1, block 1 is usually the Header for run; line 1, block 2 - the Page number; line 2, block 1 - the Table name and so on. You should specify the line on which this font should start and the line where it should end, by entering a line number in the [Start at line] and the [End at line] boxes. Next specify which block(s) of text should adopt this font, by entering a block number in the [Begin at text block] and [End at text block] boxes.
NOTE: If the same line and block are selected in more than one extra font, then the last selection will override any previous settings. For example, if lines 2 - 5, blocks 1-99 (all table title lines) use extra font number 2, and line 2, block 2 (usually table number) use extra font 3 - then the font 3 settings override the font 2 settings.
The three radio buttons [Left], [Centre] and [Right] control the printed position of the text in the extra font you have chosen. CL lays each block of text on the page assuming that every character takes up the same space as a number (0-9) in the main font. For example, if you set the extra font to be larger than that of the main font, the block of text will take up more space and CL needs to know where to begin printing the larger text.

The [Left] selection should always be made if the text is to be printed against the left hand margin of the page, such as the table name, the row and column titles and for printing a Contents file (see below).
The [Centred] selection should be made for items printed in the middle of the page, such as a table title; the [Right] selection should be made for items printed against the right hand margin, such as the page number.
Once you have entered the font(s), line(s) and text block(s), select [OK] to return to the "Print Style" dialog box.
Contents file
The [Left] selection should always be used when creating a .PRS file to use for printing a Contents file. You should choose your extra font, for printing the main body of the Contents, and then [Start at line] 1, [Finish at line] 99, [Begin at text block] 1 and [End at text block] 99 and finally select the [Left] radio button.
