A DTV is structured as a CSV file and has 7 columns:

•Name (up to 30 characters)

•Type :

oS (single-coded)

oM (multi-coded)

oI (integer)

oW (float)

•Size (number of responses)

•Output type:

oS (single-coded)

oM (multi-coded, one column per response)

oF (spreadfield)

oI (integer)

oW (float)

•Digits needed to store largest value

•Maximum number of repeats (spreadfield only)

•First data location

The output type must be the same as the input type except that for multi the output type can be M or F.
