CL recognises two forms of weighting, respondent weighting and quantity weighting.
Either or both types of weighting may be applied either on all tables or on a selection of the tables. If both types of weighting are applied to the same table, then the relevant weights are multiplied together.
The term weight is used to signify the factor used for either kind of weighting, and must be a wvar, an ivar or the number 1.
