This is reached from the Main window [data] menu, Open data file or Data read user control [Ready list] button.

This shows a list of:

•All data files previously accessed in this session

•All data files with recognisable extensions in the project directory

From the main window you can review opened data files.

From other windows you can choose a file to read from the list or cancel to return to the previous window.

Once a raw data file is loaded it is kept in memory to speed up access if it is needed again.  If you have used a large data file and you know that you will not need to look at it again you can select it and clear out the data memory of it.
