Entries on the main window can be dragged to other windows.
Holding down the left mouse and moving the mouse causes the entry to be dragged.
If the entry in the list being dragged was already selected before the drag, then all selected entries will be dragged together.
Dropping is done by releasing the mouse at the desired place.
The effect of dropping entries will depend where they are being dropped. For example dropping filter entries in the filters tab on questions and variables will add the filter to the list of applied filters.
If the drop could apply to more than one item in a list, and if the drop is onto one of the already selected items, then it will be applied to all the selected items.
