Up to four entries (questions or variables) can be marked as sample point entries.  See also CATI data files.

During interviewing, interviewers can choose individual responses from one or more sample points and only sample records that have all the selected responses will be delivered when sample is retrieved.

For nested sample points use a single-coded variable with all the combinations needed as responses.

Each entry marked as a sample point:

•Must be single coded

•Must have no more than 250 responses

•Must be a question available in the sample data, or a variable that can be defined from the sample data

•Must appear before any TELNUM entries

Sample point entries will normally also be Quota points so that numbers in each response can be counted or capped.
