Score values refer to values assigned to individual responses.
Typical use would be a rating scale where values are assigned to the responses, for example:
Very good, score value 5
Good, score value 4
Average, score value 3
Poor, score value 2
Very poor, score value 1
Don't know, no score value
When this 5 point scale is used as the rows on a table a mean score will be produced.
For mystery shopping a score value is often assigned to individual answers to build up an overall score for the outlet. In this case a value variable can be used to pick out the appropriate score and these variables can then be added together to get an overall score.
