Print style font

Selecting [Font] from the "Print style" dialog box allows you to select which font to use to print the main body of your CL document. You may select any available font for your printer, although when printing some files we recommend you use a fixed pitch font such as Courier or Line Printer, rather than a variable pitch font.

Variable pitch fonts (such as Arial or Times New Roman) may be used to print tables. Each piece of text is centred, except text which begins on the left hand side of the page.

NOTE: When using a variable pitch font you should not indent table titles or row labels and you apply format options CLG2 and CHG2 or more to your tables, to align the column labels and headers.

From the "Font" dialog box you can also select any available font style (such as bold, italic etc) and any font size.

Once you have made your selections, use the [OK] button to return to the "Print Style" dialog box where your chosen font name and size (and also the spaces per line and lines per page for your style) will be displayed in the [Page margins and fonts] box.
