MCF is a numeric format. The standard setting is MCF0.

MCF specifies a minimum total for columns. If the total in a given column is less than the value of MCF, three asterisks will be placed above the total rows in the appropriate column.

The standard setting (MCF0) is a "null" setting - it simply means "this format is not in use".
