PTB is a logical format. The standard setting is PTB (true).

Tables specified under option NPTB will not be printed. This is sometimes useful if tables are specified for subsequent manipulation; it may not be necessary to print such tables.

If NPTB is set globally and PTB used on selected tables then only the selected tables will be printed.
