PTC is a logical format. The standard setting is PTC (true).

Format PTC tells CL to print the total column on a table.

Special %PTC controls the text to be printed with this column. The standard setting is 'Total'.

This column is printed on the left of the table, (unless format TTR is set), but to the right of the unweighted column if present (but see formats UCR and UCS).

This column is used as the base when format RTH is set.
