The different types of table are described in the Tables overview and are created using Tables setup.
A banked table is an overlaid table where the columns and rows are not inter-related.
A typical banked table has a set of columns that all have the same responses that are displayed side-by-side. The total column (if shown) is the sum of all the other columns. The single column / which column settings are used to increment each column separately. A typical banked table can be created as a grid table.
The column entry used for all parts of a banked table will usually be a variable with a response for each column and the definitions for all the responses will be true. If some of the columns are filtered then this should be used as the response definition for that column.
If it is required to add more than one column for each instance then separate variables can be used as the columns, setting all the unwanted response definitions to false and the wanted columns to the relevant definition.
