Overlaid table

The different types of table are described in the Tables overview and are created using Tables setup.

If the overlay setting is used on a table then this table will be added to the previous table and will have the same name.

Each overlay must have the same number of rows and columns as the table they are being added to.

All the tables that are overlaid must be together in the tables list.

It is much more efficient to use overlays than arithmetic tables when you only need to add tables together.

If individual columns with the same responses are shown side-by-side this is called a banked table or a grid table.

The tables that are overlaid can have different filters applied.

They can also have different row and column entries provided the number of responses is correct.
