This is reached from Tables setup to change the tables on the clipboard before pasting.
New table names will be allocated that do not conflict with existing tables. These can be changed using the left section.
Entry references can be changed before pasting using the right section.
This lists the names of the tables from the clipboard with their new names which will be used when the tables are pasted.
When started, the program will have preset new names using table numbers not already used.
Unless you use specific names for your tables you do not need to touch the left hand section.
If table arithmetic contains table names that are being pasted, these will be changed when pasted to refer to the new table names.
If syntax contains easily identified table names that are being pasted, these will be changed when pasted to refer to the new table names. This will work with tables referred to directly with a # followed by the table name. It will not work if the preprocessor is used as part of the table name.
Use the Next and Previous buttons to move through the list.
Use the Block change button to make changes to all the relevant table names using Block replace.
This lists the names of all the entries referred to by tables from the clipboard with any replacement names chosen.
Entries can be referred to as columns, rows, weights, and in filters.
Use this to change any entry references in the tables to new references.
Be careful not to change references to entries that are not compatible with where they are used in the tables, for example using an integer entry in place of the column entry on a table.
Use the Next and Previous buttons to move through the list.
Use the Block change button to make changes to all the relevant entry names using Block replace.
Use this before pasting to use the same table names for saved tables as the original names.
When this button is used all the tables listed will be pasted with the names shown in the left section into the main tables list after the selected entry.
These new tables will all be selected so you can move them after pasting using the up and down toolbar items.
If the table numbers are now not in sequence you can use can use renumber to get all the tables in numerical order.
