This question is used as the random seed for randomised responses and questions.

It must be a character with a width of 8 and is set when a record is first input (created)..

If this entry is not present then the serial number is used as the seed (not recommended).

This entry is used so that the random orders will be preserved for each record.

Named random

To repeat the same order for different groups or response lists you can use a named random entry.

A named random entry is the same type and size as ZZZRAN but the name starts with ZZZRAN and is followed by extra characters, for example ZZZRANP2 or ZZZRANDRINKS.

To get the same order the number of sets or responses (not fixed) are the same.

Named random entries are allocated in the same place as the randomisation is set: Randomise questions or Entry details question.
