ZZZ session

See ZZZ questions for details of ZZZ entries.

These questions are used to preserve the start of session information when the records were first entered:

ZZZDTS Date when the session was started

ZZZTMS Time when the session was started

ZZZUNS User name of the person entering the data

ZZZCNS Computer used to enter the data

ZZZSEQ Original serial number

The first four are the same for every record entered in a session and contain the same information as that used to name the data file.

IMPORTANT: these entries including ZZZSEQ are used to prevent the same record being included in the data more than once because they are unique for each record and should never be altered.

These ZZZ entries can be used to easily to locate the original data file that contains the record being inspected.

These entries do not show the relevant information for each record, use ZZZUNA, ZZZYMD, ZZZHMS and ZZCNA for details about when each record itself was entered.

IMPORTANT: When a serial number is changed for a record you should must not alter the contents of ZZZSEQ.

Any ZZZRAN entries are also set when a new record is created.
