This is reached from Tables setup to set the formats for selected tables and from Tables overall to set the formatting options for all the tables output. It is also accessed from the Main window menu to set default formats for the project.

Format options control the visual look of tables produced and can also alter the way tables are calculated.

Use the "significance testing" button to set the Significance formats that control comparisons with total and with other columns.

Format options set globally can be overridden on individual tables.

There are a number of formats that only effect the TXT (printable text) tables and these can be accessed separately.

From Tables overall there is an option to remove any format settings that are the default settings, and so are not needed.

WARNING: Formats ATN/STN should be avoided because they prevent the correct usage of any decimal place settings on individual tables. Please use the renumber facility instead.
