SLA Significance Level A

SLA is a numeric format. The standard setting is SLA95.

This format sets the lowest percentage level to use with statistics. The standard setting means that any tests that are significant at the 95% probability level are marked as per format SMA or column identifiers as described under format SHG.

SLA100 sets this value to 99.9%.

Use SLA101 to turn off SLA.

When cells are marked under formats AVG, SIG, LMA, TTF or TTT the marker(s) appear to the right of the cell value. If insufficient blank space is available (the marker would be overwritten by the next cell, or would be beyond the page boundary) then an additional line is generated and the marker(s) are placed right justified under the value. To avoid the generation of an additional line when markers are used we recommend using format CLG3 and CHG3 or more.
